The Analele Universității de Vest din Timișoara. Seria Științe Filologice (AUT)/ The Annals of the West University of Timișoara. Humanities Series is recognized as one of the major journals of the West University. It features research studies, articles, notes and reviews on currently debated themes in Romanian, classical, French, Italian, Spanish, Anglo-American, German, etc. culture and philology, approached from synchronic and diachronic perspectives. It publishes one issue per year. Its main domains are language studies, literary studies, cultural studies, didactics, translation studies, Romanian language and literature studies, as well as studies on the diversity of classical and modern languages and cultures.

The languages of the journal are Romanian, English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German

The journal is published annually, in the month of December.

The journal does not charge any article submission and processing fees. According to Romanian National Council of Scientific Research (CNCS), The Annals of the West University of Timișoara.
